In a traditional bar, you simply ask the staff for a cocktail. However, ordering with Robbie Drink is even simpler. Klaudia Keil emphasized that a two-step process was their priority. “The customer uses a tablet to select a drink and clicks ‘order’. Furthermore, guests can personalize their drinks by adding or subtracting ingredients.” This feature allows everyone to create their perfect cocktail easily. Additionally, the system includes a unique drink generator.
Using AI in the startup
How does the robot utilize artificial intelligence? According to the founders, AI makes the experience interactive. “We offer a special drink called ‘Robbie AI’. When you choose it, the robot asks you three different questions,” says Jeremi Przeorek. As a result, the AI combines your answers with specific keywords to create a unique name and a custom recipe for your drink.
The origin of the idea
The idea for the Robbie Drink robotic bartender started during a business trip. Jeremi and Marcin, who worked together, decided to build a prototype for Marcin’s wedding. The robot became a huge success instantly. In fact, guests paid more attention to the robot than the actual ceremony! After that, the team decided to expand the idea into a full-scale startup.
