Pinpoint Works Success Story – Our First Client and a Journey to Success

The Pinpoint Works success story is more than a business case. It is a story about trust, persistence, and a long-term partnership that helped transform a struggling startup into a successful, independent company. For every company, the first client is something special — and for us at Futurum Technology, that client was Pinpoint Works.

Our journey started even before Futurum Technology officially existed, but that part of the story deserves its own chapter.


A hard beginning for Pinpoint Works

The story began in 2016 when James, the founder of Pinpoint Works, contacted us with serious IT problems. At that time, Futurum Technology was still a small company taking its first steps in the tech world. Despite our size, we decided to help.

The situation was challenging. The application code was unstable, full of bugs, and difficult to maintain. Previous freelancers had abandoned the project once problems appeared, and other companies refused to take responsibility for fixing it. James was left alone with a product that had great potential but weak technical foundations.

We took the risk. Step by step, we stabilized the application, improved the code quality, and restored confidence in the project. This moment marked the beginning of a long-term partnership — and Pinpoint Works became our first official client.


Building trust through long-term cooperation

Trust between a company and a client is essential for any successful project. From the very beginning, we worked openly with James and Leslie, focusing not only on solving technical issues but also on supporting the business vision behind the product.

We fully took over the project, refactored the codebase, introduced better development practices, and ensured that the application could grow safely. Thanks to close cooperation, Pinpoint Works gradually gained its first customers, which allowed further development and expansion.


Scaling the product and growing the team

As the number of users increased, scaling became the next crucial step in the Pinpoint Works success story. We expanded the development team and optimized the application to handle growing traffic and new features.

The platform became stable, efficient, and ready for global growth. At the same time, marketing efforts intensified, and brand recognition continued to rise. User numbers increased steadily, confirming that both the business idea and the technology were heading in the right direction.


A successful exit and time to say goodbye

After six years of close cooperation, Pinpoint Works reached full independence. In 2022, James made a bold move and sold the company to Voly Group for millions of dollars. This moment marked the end of our formal cooperation, but also the ultimate proof of success.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this journey. Five of our former team members still work with Pinpoint Works today, and we continue to support the company with genuine enthusiasm and respect.
